We recorded this wind-focused sound library across three different locations in and around Taitung, Taiwan, capturing the raw force and character of strong winds interacting with natural landscapes and man-made objects. Each location offers a distinct perspective on how wind shapes its surroundings, from open lakeside spaces to exposed coastal areas.

At Taitung Park, we captured powerful gusts sweeping across the lakeside and moving through surrounding trees. The wind creates a constantly shifting soundscape that feels both calm and energetic. In the background, occasional joggers, cyclists, and walkers pass by, adding subtle traces of human presence without distracting from the natural atmosphere.

Inside a nearby public park, we recorded the unsettling movement of a loose metallic sheet attached to a fence. Driven by strong wind, the metal flaps and rattles with an eerie, almost unsettling character, creating striking tonal variations and unpredictable rhythms. These recordings are well suited for moments that call for tension, unease, or unusual environmental textures layered into everyday settings.

Along the coast at Taitung Beach and Taitung Coastal Park, we captured intense coastal winds colliding with powerful ocean waves as they crashed onto the long sandy shoreline. These daytime recordings emphasize the full energy of wind and sea working together, delivering an immersive and forceful ambience ideal for projects that need expansive, high-impact natural soundscapes.
