Haunting Dockside Nautical Ambience Busan
On our trip through South Korea, we spent several days in Busan recording across the city and the shipyard and harbor was definitly one of the highlights.
Industrial ambiences are my favorite to record, and this location was a goldmine of unique sounds.
What’s Inside
From the clang of hammers and crane beeps in Youngdo’s shipyard, to ship horns echoing across the harbor, and waves lapping against the floating bridge, this sound pack captures Busan’s industrial and maritime life. Evening recordings from the fish market observation deck expand into moody cityscapes, while nighttime takes a darker turn with compressors, air-conditioning drones, and eerie dockside hums. A hydrophone dropped into the harbor reveals an underwater world of boat rumbles and crackling marine life.

This library includes Double Mid Side (DMS) recordings for surround and immersive mixes. We recommend using the free Schoeps DMS Plugin to upmix or downmix for maximum flexibility.
