We recorded this collection while exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Taroko National Park in Taiwan, where nature’s raw beauty intersects with subtle signs of human activity. Taroko National Park Nature Sounds features a rich variety of environmental recordings—from the forceful flow of creeks and the calm drift of rivers to the gentle trickle of streams winding through dense, green forest. As we walked the scenic Shakadang Trail, we recorded the forest’s lively ambience filled with bird calls, rhythmic cicadas, and the distant footsteps and voices of passing hikers.

Inside the Shakadang Tunnel, we documented the eerie, resonant echoes created by passing vehicles—a surreal contrast to the natural calm just outside. We also recorded the unique ambience of nearby train station environments, where gusts of wind swept across open platforms, traffic murmured in the background, and container trains roared through with weight and power.

This sound library blends tranquil nature with immersive industrial resonance, making it ideal for sound designers, filmmakers, and audio creatives looking to add depth and realism to their projects. Looking for more nature recordings? We recommend checking out our Nature Sounds category!
