I spent several weeks in Chiang Mai recording the vibrant city sounds and bustling market ambiance. But it wasn’t until I explored the depths of Doi Suthep at night that I discovered the true beauty of Thailand’s jungle after dark.

The biggest challenge I faced was escaping the distant city noise and airplanes, which meant venturing deeper into the forest on smaller, bumpier roads. But once I arrived, it was just me, the moon, and the captivating sounds of the night. I stopped several times to listen through my headphones, amplifying the intensity of the experience.

I admit, I was scared, but the thrill of recording these sounds was well worth it. With our forest sound library, you’ll feel like you’re right there in the midst surrounded by fireflies, frogs and enveloped in the peacefulness of the night.
