Experience the sounds of a massive cruise ship arriving at the beautiful port of Valletta in Malta with our royalty-free sound library! We spent three months living in Valletta, and during that time, we were able to capture some amazing recordings of the world’s largest cruise ships turning 180 degrees to moor in the port.
One early morning, we walked to Fort Elmo and positioned ourselves by the water to capture the arrival of the MSC Grandiosa. We recorded the sound of the cruise ship’s horn, engine, and exhaust coming from the funnel with a slow-running motor from above, and also used the Ambient ASF2 MK2 hydrophone to record the ship’s propeller sounds underwater.
In most ports, recording these sounds can be challenging due to blockades, but not in Malta! Our library offers a unique and immersive experience of the beautiful port and its surroundings.
So if you’re looking for cruise ship sound effects and ambient sounds from Malta, our library is perfect for you. And if you’re interested in more sound libraries or effects from Malta, be sure to check out our All In One Bundle, which features many more recordings from this beautiful country.
