While adventuring in Munich, we stumbled upon a lively school and decided to record authentic school kids recess sound effects.

The glee-filled children’s voices, joyous screams, laughter, and playful games resonated through the streets, creating a unique mix of kid sounds and children shouting sound effects.

As we recorded these lively sounds, the city’s rhythm continued unabated. Pedestrians strolled by, and cars, limited to a crawl on the cobblestone one-way street, contributed to this unique ambience.

Just as we finished our second recording, the schoolyard began to clear. The kids, lining up and dispersing, left behind a slowly fading echo of their merriment, replaced by the noon church bell’s resonant toll. This created an authentic reverb, the perfect backdrop for any project requiring school recess sound effects.
