Get a glimpse into the lives of school kids in Vietnam with this sound library of authentic recordings. During my road trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi back in 2019, I stumbled upon an unexpected source of inspiration – the sounds of school children playing and laughing.
While staying in Cao Bang for the night, I woke up to the sound of joyful screams and chatter from the nearby elementary school. Rather than being annoyed by the noise, I saw an opportunity to capture a unique soundscape.
I set up my recording equipment near the window, just 5 meters away from the school and 30 meters away from the playground. For this recording, I used a Zoom F8n with Usi Pro by Lom and 360-degree Zoom H3-VR (AmbiX format) to capture the full experience.
What can you expect to hear in this library?
A lively school playground with around 100 children playing, chatting and walking to their classrooms. You’ll also hear a teacher playing the piano (or keyboard) with the kids, the sound of drums manually hit to signal the start of the school day, and kids singing in the classroom.
This library also features faint street traffic in the background and the soothing sound of a chirping bird. Download these authentic sounds of school children playing and laughing for use in your film, TV, or music projects. Bring a piece of Vietnam into your work and immerse your audience in a truly unique experience.
