Echo Park is both a neighborhood and a park in Los Angeles near trendy areas like Silver Lake and Downtown. This beautiful recreational park was originally intended in the late 1800s as a reservoir to provide water to LA. However, after the Los Angeles Canal and Reservoir Company realized their venture was doom to fail they gave their land to the city which was made into an English-style park.
In this Los Angeles Sound Effects Library you will hear many bird sounds coming from a tree, the water fountain in the background, people walking in the park, and traffic sounds from the other side of the park.
While I was recording, several pedestrians passed by and a few cars drove by. The street was a oneway with cobblestone so the speed of the cars were slow.
Be sure to check out more sounds on our Ambience page and this Los Angeles Traffic Sound Library.
Who would have thought a handy sound recorder in Cambodia would lead us here?
Hi there we’re Marcel and Libby and every sound on this site has been recorded by us. For nearly 7 years, we’ve been traveling around the world recording unique sounds for others to use!
