Recording the quiet harbors Iceland

Looking for the most serene and peaceful harbor sounds for your creative projects from Iceland without all the tourists? Look no further than our affordable sound library that we personally recorded while on an amazing camper van adventure around Iceland in 2020!

We rented a camper van from Cozy Campers, complete with a comfy bed and all the gear we needed for $2300 a month. As we drove the classic ring road in reverse, we made sure to stop at every small town we came across to capture the most relaxing harbor sounds imaginable.

No matter if you need daytime or nighttime recordings, we got you covered! Thanks to Iceland’s extended summer daylight hours, you’ll get to experience the tranquil sounds of the harbor even during the early hours of the morning.

And if you’re looking for a bit more ambience, we’ve also got recordings from Husavik and Reykjavik, where the waves and winds were a little bit stronger.

So, whether you’re working on a post-production project, video game, podcast, audio drama, or music production we hope our library has everything you need to create the most calming and tranquil atmosphere.
