Ferry and Ships Sound Effects

Experience the immersive sound of ships and ferries from Croatia with our royalty-free sound library! We offer a unique collection of onboard ferry and harbor sounds recorded between Ploce and Trpanj, which includes 35 different recordings (4.6 GB) captured with the Sennheiser MKH 8040, LOM Geofon, AKG C411pp, and the new Zoom H8.

During our trip to Dubrovnik, we had to take the ferry twice due to the border crossing to Bosnia and Herzegovina. But, the ferry ride was an incredible experience that offered a perfect soundscape for recording. We captured the arrival and departure of cars and trucks, driving onto the ferry, and the ambience on different decks during both day and night. Additionally, we recorded some great metallic vibration sounds with the LOM Geofon.

Croatia is by far one of our favorite countries to live and visit in Europe, and we’re glad to offer these unique sounds of ship and ferry ambience from this beautiful country. Best of all, this library is free and available for you to use in your sound design, music, or post-production projects. So if you’re looking for high-quality ship and ferry sound effects from Croatia, look no further and download our library now!

Be sure to check out more sounds on our Transportation Page and this Korea Ferry Ambience Sound Library.
