A yearly gathering of antique car and motorcycle enthusiasts in the small town of Biberach/Riss, Germany called “Burrenwald Klassik” provides the perfect opportunity to record the sounds of vintage vehicles.
To be eligible for the car show, a motorized vehicle must be considered an “oldtimer” and cannot be manufactured after 1987.
This library features the sounds of a variety of vintage cars and motorbikes, including pass bys, engine starting and turning off, accelerations, door opening and closing, and even the voices of German visitors chatting and laughing. A variety of makes and models can be heard, including BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Fiat, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Rolls Royce, Opel, Ford, and Volkswagen.
Be sure to check out more sounds on our Transportation Page and this Racing Cars Sound Library.
