While wandering through Telluride, I was drawn by the distant sounds of people cheering and shouting. Curiosity led me closer to the source, guiding me to the outskirts of town, where I uncovered an engaging softball game in progress.
Telluride cradled in a valley enveloped by breathtaking mountains, produces a one-of-a-kind acoustic ambience. This distinctive environment offers more than just the exuberant cheers of fans; it also envelops you in the melodies of chirping birds, the faint murmur of traffic in the distance, and the gentle caress of the wind.
For the “USA Softball League Sound Library,” I diligently recorded from various locations and distances, capturing the energy of the game from unique vantage points.
