Experience the Sounds of Maltese Church Bells

I had the privilege of recording 15 minutes of stunning church bell recordings and with help of our friends from Malta, I was able to climb on top of the roof to record these amazing sounds.

The gear ready directly under the bells I was able to record the sounds of the “Our Lady of Grace” church, also known as Knisja Arċipretali u Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Grazzja, in all its glory. The church was built between 1641 and 1696, and its bells ring Ave Maria, creating a truly breathtaking soundscape.

The Best Field Recording Equipment possible

I used the best recording equipment available, including the Zoom F6, Sennheiser MKH 8040, Cinela Albert, and AKG C411pp contact microphone.

These recordings were captured directly under the bells and in two bell towers, providing you with a range of sounds to choose from.

With this sound library, you can bring the magic of Malta’s church bells into your own space and use them in any project. Whether you’re working on a film, video game, or just want to listen to the sounds of Malta.

Be sure to check out more sounds on our Ambience page and this Church Bell Sound Effects Malta Library.
