Recording Rain Sounds on Empty Streets

During lockdown in La Réunion, we had the opportunity to take advantage of the situation and record the serene sounds of rain falling on the quiet streets of the city. The streets were eerily empty, allowing for uninterrupted recordings that showcased the beauty of nature slowly reclaiming its place in the urban environment.

We recorded from the balcony of our apartment, capturing the sound of raindrops falling on the tiles, palm tree leaves, and the glass roof of the pergola. The recordings are high-quality, capturing the soothing and calming sound of the rain in a city.

The background noise is minimal, with only a few distant sounds of passing cars in the background, making the recordings ideal for use in a variety of projects.

Whether you are a music composer, sound designer, or post-production professional, these recordings are perfect for a wide range of uses. The sound library is ideal for those looking to create peaceful and calming atmosphere in their projects, or to add a touch of nature in the city. Additionally, this sound library is great for meditation and relaxation, and can be used in soundscapes to create a serene and tranquil environment.
