Discovering Rare Metal Sound Effects in Abandoned Mine in Cyprus

Are you in search of authentic and unique metal sound effects for your next sound design projects?
Well, I may have recorded what you’re looking for.

Back in 2019 we visited an abandoned mine in Cyprus and recorded the sound of old metal and rusty machinery.

With a hammer, I recorded various metallic surfaces inside the main building to provide you with a diverse range of metal impact sounds. I also recorded the sounds of shuffling broken glass with my shoes for added texture that was spread out on the floor.

Old Rusty Metal Levers

One of the highlights of this sound library was the discovery of two old rusty levers near the deep mine shaft that produced an intense and spooky rusty squeaking sound.

These metal clanging and scrapring sound effects are perfect for those seeking mechanical sound effects for sound design or music production.

Download these royalty-free sound effects and elevate your sound design projects with the raw and industrial sound of metal. Whether it’s for commercial or non-commercial use, these sounds are sure to add character to your work.
