Seoul is a megacity that, when combined with the surrounding cities, forms the world’s second-largest metropolitan area, housing more than 25 million people which is more than half of the country’s population.
Libby and I walked between 15000 and 30000 steps almost every day to explore the city by foot, subway, and buses. After two months, we felt like we haven’t even scratched the surface.
Now, whenever we’re out and about, it’s impossible to avoid the sounds of emergency sirens so we decided to keep our recording devices close and hit the record button whenever we come across ambulances, firetrucks, or police cars. Most of the recordings are ambulances and we barely came across Police cars with sirens on or firetrucks.
This emergency sound effects library is perfect for anyone looking for high-quality and affordable siren sounds. Who knows, maybe one day our sirens will appear in one of the many amazing K-Drama productions.
Who would have thought a handy sound recorder in Cambodia would lead us here?
Hi there we’re Marcel and Libby and every sound on this site has been recorded by us. For nearly 7 years, we’ve been traveling around the world recording unique sounds for others to use!Â
If you’re curious and want to learn more about our journey traveling full-time as sound recordists you can read on here or on CNN Travel.
