I had the opportunity to visit and record in two beautiful harbors in Spain: Málaga and Cartagena.

In Málaga, I captured the sounds of seagulls flying overhead and the gentle lapping of waves against the harbor walls. I was especially thrilled to record the unique squeaking of ropes as a boat swayed back and forth in the water.

Cartagena’s harbor provided another rich source of sound. I was able to capture the metallic impact of container ships unloading in the distance, creating a perfect industrial harbor sound for post-production needs.
