A brand new binaural footsteps sound library recorded with the new Zoom F3 and the excellent sounding DPA 4560 in-ear microphones. When it comes to stealth recording, this is an incredible combination.
I went to an emergency staircase with over 40 floors and walked up and down to record these mysterious sounding footsteps.
The room of this staircase has a natural spooky-sounding reverb, which added to the overall fun of the experience. I didn’t just walk up and down the stairs; I also jogged, ran, and jumped up and down several floors to record different sound effects and emotions. I also recorded individual steps just in case you need them. Looking for breathing sounds as well? It’s all in this library!
