Recording sounds at the Incheon Airport in Seoul, South Korea
I love airports but I hate flying. That probably sounds bizarre but it’s the truth! I could spend hours on end roaming around airports and recording sounds! Back in 2018, we traveled from Atlanta with Delta and had a layover in South Korea before connecting to Danang, Vietnam. I started recording after leaving the plane and used my binaural Soundman OKM II Rock Studio Microphones (so make sure you listen with headphones!)
We left our gate and we walked directly to the train station and took the train to the next gate. The starting of the train was amazing but a pre-recorded voice made it impossible for me to keep it in the recording. After the train arrived we took the escalator up into a huge waiting hall with a lot of people. This is where I stopped recording.
About this sound recording
The sound file is around seven minutes long and includes typical airport ambience of people chatting, walking, laughing, train driving sounds, and kids playing. Make sure to check out all the other airport sounds that I have already recorded!
